Holiday in Pare Kediri..

I visited kediri about 2 year ago exactly in july 2010  with my friend for holiday.Pare,Kediri is on e of many villages in east Java but  it is the only one village which often called as English village. Actually i didn’t have planning to visit there I just wanted to spent whole my holiday in my friend’s Grandmother house, but I remembered what my teacher was recommended about English Village. The first I was so curious why is it called as English Village? I guess just because a lot of foreigners from england who lived there but it’s wrong, the real answer is because there are many institutions of foreign language courses which provided courses in many languages ​​including English, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese, and because the most of institutions specialized in english so Kediri village is mostly callled as English Village. After I Knew the fact about it I thought this ‘s a good time to improve my English skill.I had 2 weeks freedays to take some English programs in English Village so I decided to take one packet which included 2 weeks speaking and grammar classes with Boarding house services.That time is unforgetable moment for me.and they are some reasons why I chose Holiday in English village as my favorite holiday.

My First reason is because English Village is the perfect place for me who want to learn English intensively and comprehensively, even if your ability is still a BIG ZERO like me in the first time. I really can improve my English skill there because of the environment forced me to speak English all the time. So I can left my fearness and shyness to speak English. Don’t care whether my speechs were wrong or right.The important is I speak English. The Gold Key in studying English is practice. Like in English word wisdom says”PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT”.

Second is Super cheap cost of living. For student like me living expenses in Pare seemed to be much cheaper than other cities like Bekasi, yogyakarta, and others. This is evidenced when many of my friends came from the big city like NTT, Borneo, Sumatra and Jakarta. I really surprise after buying a complete menu with chicken or meat the pricesa are never more than Rp. 10.000, . Fried snacks(gorengan) are very cheap and the Food shop or café are easy to find that’s mean don’t worry if you feel hungry often. And about the course fee, because l chose one packet courses including boarding service of course the fee was cheaper.

The last reason is Local people are very friendly.No wonder that many students feel at home in this village because of the friendliness from the local people. I never missed my family while I was living there because there are a lot of people who always care of me like my own family.They are my instructors, my friends, and local people. we take care each others.Pare Kediri is a peaceful safe area of conflict a lot of students from out of east java often choose a course of English settled in this village for many years.

Well thus some of the reasons why I chose my holiday in English village Pare Kediri to be my favorite. It’s really cool place to learn and fun.I recommend to you all to include Pare,Kediri to be your next holiday destination.
